A Boonton New Jersey man was seriously injured after being involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on a roadway in Parsippany, NJ.

The accident occurred at night, just before 11:00 p.m., near the intersection of Knoll Lane and Greenbank Road in Parsippany, New Jersey. The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old resident of Boonton Township in Morris County, was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson when he suddenly lost control of the bike. The bike subsequently went off the road and did not come to a stop until it hit retaining wall blocks around a country club sign.

When Parsippany police and emergency medical crews got to the scene, they found the victim lying on the pavement and suffering from a serious leg injury and a large cut across his face. Emergency medical responders briefly treated the victim and then transported the motorcycle accident victim to Morristown Medical Center in Morristown NJ, where doctors provided further medical treatment for his crash-related injuries.

The Parsippany Police Department is actively investigating the non-fatal motorcycle crash and trying to deduce exactly what might have caused the crash. At this time, police have not issued any traffic citations in connection with the bike accident.
