A Pennsylvania man whose pride and joy was his 1990 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail will rest in peace buried in its sidecar, according to a recent USA Today article.

The 89-year-old man, who passed away due to cancer recently, had made plans to be buried in the sidecar of his beloved motorcycle in lieu of a traditional casket. He even reached out to a funeral home run by fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, who were happy to figure out how to grant the man’s final wish. The funeral home also has three motorcycle hearses available, which may also be used in the funeral.

After working for 42 years as a welder at Bethlehem Steel, the man bought the 1990 Harley-Davidson with funds from his retirement bonus. His family says that he was a true motorcycle enthusiast.
